BuyMetrics, Inc. was founded in 1995 and incorporated in February 1996. Our products are designed exclusively for a single industry: the building materials distribution channel.

BuyMetrics's founder and chairman, Valerie Hansen, is also president of Racine, Wisconsin-based Big Buck Building Centers. 

BuyMetrics's president & CEO, Alan K. Gay, was formerly a vice president of Georgia-Pacific, responsible within the building products distribution division for national accounts, Mid-Atlantic operations, marketing, e-business strategy, and specialty product procurement. Mr. Gay also has fourteen years of experience with IBM, including the last four as vice president of consulting and systems integration for the southeastern US.
